Frances Turner was born on 31 January 1804, daughter of Terisha Turner and Mary Dalton, in Rocky Creek, Sumner County, Tennessee. The Rocky Creek location comes from undocumented Pedigree Chart 30595 in Everton's Pedigree and Family Group Sheets (which I can't figure out how to cite) found on WorldVitalRecords.com.1,2
Frances Turner, 19, married Livingston T. Dickerson on 11 June 1823 in Sumner County, Tennessee.3
Frances Dickerson died on 15 May 1849 at age 45 in Muscatine County, Iowa, of cholera,2 and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa. "A recently-discovered index reported that the cemetery was moved in 1854; bodies fell out of wagon and never recovered; fell in river or were 'misplaced;' many stones, no bodies and vice versa; list of people buried in middle of nowhere with no surviving stones."2
