Minnie Blanch Turner was born on 26 February 1874, daughter of John Calhoun Turner and Martha Lee Givens, in Missouri.1,4
She was also known as Blanch.5

Blanch Turner and James Martin Campbell obtained a marriage license on 25 April 1894 in Bowling Green, Pike County, Missouri.6

Minnie Blanch Turner, 20, married James Martin Campbell, 22, on 25 April 1894 in Bowling Green, Pike County, Missouri.6

On 20 March 1896, Martha Lee Turner, in her will, names her sons: M. Reynolds Turner, Harry Turner and Reynolds Turner (?); and daughters: Kate Turner Smith, Mattie, Blanch and Ruby. She also names her "feeble-minded" daughter, Lillian B. Turner, with daughter Kate as her trustee. She appointed her son-in-law L. E. Mayhall as executor.2

She filed for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution, ID# 92904 in which she delineated her descent as follows: John C. Turner (1826-1896) who married Martha Lee Givens (1840-1896) in 1859; Terry T. Turner (1786-1858) and Susan Foster; William Turner who married Elizabeth Thurmond (b. 1760); William Turner (1757-1817) who served as a private, Capt. Francis Taylor's company Col. Alexander Spottswood's 2nd Virginia regiment, at Germantown and Stony Point. William was born in Nelson County and died in Albemarle County, Virginia.

There is a problem with this lineage. I show that Terry Turner, husband of Susan Foster was the son of William Turner and Sarah Lyon. This William was the son of Terisha (the progenitor of the main portion of this study) and Sarah (--?--). I have not checked to see if this lineage is one of the ones to be disallowed. In looking at various undocumented family trees, I see children of this couple who are definitely not known to me.7

Minnie Blanch Campbell died of Lobar Pneumonia on 27 May 1943 at age 69 in State Hospital No. 1, Fulton, Callaway County, Missouri,3 and was buried in Bowling Green City Cemetery, Bowling Green, Pike County, Missouri.4

Miranda, 25, married John Rufus Sheldon, 25, on 19 November 1905 in Lewis County, Idaho.1,4

According to the cited source, John and Miranda lived in Oklahoma where he was a physician.1 Obviously, this is incorrect as proven by the census enumerations and draft registrations.

On 2 November 1923, Andrew J. Turner's obituary lists his survivors as: "his wife, Dora and the following children: Dr. W. G. Turner of Arkansas City, Ark; W. F. Turner, A. E. Turner, Ira D.      On 24 November 1805, she is named in her father's will of this date.1,4

On 2 April 1812, 100 acres of land appearing to be a part of James Turner's estate considered as residual and not specifically designated in his will, but left to his daughters in an undivided interest was sold to William Hamner for $500 in Nelson County, Virginia,

The deed abstract reads: Teril (Terisha) Turner and wife, Polly; Leonard Phillips and wife, Eliza; Page Daniel (Dameron) and wife, Susannah; Henry Rittenhouse and wife, Patsey; Jno. Graves and wife, Lucy; Jesse Joblin and wife, Rebecca; Nancy; Mildred and Judith Turner conveyed to William Hamner of Albemarle. Leod. Phillips is later called Zach Phillips and Daniel is Dameron in the confusing deed . . $500; 100 acres. Lines: Cove Creek, Benj. Payne, Matthews, Saml. Anderson, mill tract. Witnesses: Saml., Henry, Terisha and Wm. Turner, Wm. H. Leigh. These signatures appear: Little Page Dameron, Henry Rittenhouse, Jno. Hopling, Susannah Dameron, Leanna Phillips, Jno. Groves, Polly Turner, Mildred Turner, Nancy Turner, Rebecca Jobling, Lucy Graves, Patsy Rittenhouse, Judith Turner.5,6

On 17 August 1812, an Administrators Account for the estate of James Turner was listed by Jno. Turner (John L. Turner); will expenses; bond of Terisha Turner; Jas. Turner; Nancy Turner; Milly Turner in Amherst County, Virginia.7,8

Nancy and John Thurmond obtained a marriage bond on 24 March 1817 in Nelson County, Virginia, with Terrisha Turner as bondsman.9,10

Nancy Turner married John Thurmond on 24 March 1817 in Nelson County, Virginia, with John Shepheard officiating at the marriage.11

I cannot find John Thurmond in the 1830 or 1840 census as of 20 Jan 2021. Although I did find in 1830, a John Thurmond in Albemarle County as being between 40 and 49 years of age.

But, in 1840, a John Thurmond in Fredericksville, Albemarle County is listed as being 40 thru 49 in 1840. The ages do not compute.
