     In 1850, I can't even find him in Pike or surrounding counties, Missouri, under either Buchanon or Buchanan in this census as of 30 Nov 2020.

     Thomas Buchanon married Sophia Turner, daughter of Nathaniel H. Turner and Elizabeth P. Woodroof, on 16 April 1856 at the home of John Turner in Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri.¹

     I have had no luck finding them in the census anywhere from 1860-1880 as of 30 Nov 2020.

     Elizabeth Buntin was born on 5 January 1805, daughter of James Robert Bunton and Phoebe Ann Desha, in Sumner County, Tennessee.^4,5,6
     She was also known as Betsey.¹

     Elizabeth and Nelson Bailey Turner obtained a marriage bond on 5 December 1820 in Sumner County, Tennessee, with Richard Johnson and Stephen H. Turner as witnesses.^1,7

     Elizabeth Buntin, 15, married Nelson Bailey Turner, 23, son of John (L) Turner and Elizabeth Bailey, on 7 December 1820.⁵

     Elizabeth Turner died on 24 July 1842 at age 37 in Sumner County, Tennessee,⁴ and was buried in Turner 1-55 Cemetery, Sumner County, Tennessee.
     The cemetery is called the Turner Cemetery and is located 2 and 3/10 miles east of Highway 31W on Clearview Road. The cemetery is about 100 feet south of the road on the former Mitchell Moore property. Buried in the same cemetery are Richard Moore 12 Nov 1890 - Jul 7 1914 and Johnetter Mitchel, daughter of Major W. & Catharine Mitchel 23 Jan 1849 - 27 Jun 1870.^4,8,9

     John brought his family, including his adult sons, to northern middle Tennessee by 1800. Some of his sons settled in what became Robertson County and some in Sumner County. The source for this information prefers to remain unidentified.

     John Buntin died in 1803 in Sumner County, Tennessee.¹

     John Buntin left a will dated on 14 June 1803 in Sumner County, Tennessee. In his will he names his wife, Elizabeth, to whom he bequeathed a negro wench Luce, a horse and other goods. He names his son, Joseph; daughter Sarah; son William; and, grandson John Kerr. He appointed his two sons, Joseph and William, as executors.

     No probate date has been found.¹

     Thomas B. Buntin was born on 20 March 1799, son of William Buntin and Mary Cowan, in North Carolina.^4,3

     "Thomas came to Tennesee as a toddler with his parents and grandparents."⁵
     His surname also is spelled as Bunton.²

     Thomas B. Buntin, 20, married Elizabeth Turner, 20, daughter of John (L) Turner and Elizabeth Bailey, on 27 April 1819 in Sumner County, Tennessee. No amount of research has turned up a Barten husband (as mentioned in the will) and given the way names were spelled at this time, I think this is probably the correct marriage.^6,2

     Thomas B. Buntin died on 30 January 1865 at age 65³ and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee.³

     William Buntin died on 5 December 1831 at age 61 in Sumner County, Tennessee,⁴ and was buried in Dry Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bethpage, Sumner County, Tennessee.⁴
