     John J. London was born on 21 June 1774, son of James London Jr. and Mary Turner, in Amherst County, Virginia Colony.1,2

     On 22 August 1805, John J. London was security for the marriage bond of Lewis Gregory and Nancy London at Amherst County, Virginia, with John London as security and Martin London as witness.4,5

     John J. London and Tirzah Higginbotham obtained a marriage bond on 28 December 1809 in Amherst County, Virginia, with Eugene Higginbotham as security and Arthur B. Davies, Frances R. Higginbotham, and Jas. M. Brown as witnesses.6

     John J. London, 35, married Tirzah Higginbotham, 26, daughter of Capt. John Higginbotham and Rachel Banks, on 31 December 1809 in Amherst County, Virginia.7

     On 15 June 1820, he is named in his father's will of this date.3

     John J. London died on 24 March 1823 at age 48 in Amherst County, Virginia,1,2 and was buried in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Amherst, Amherst County, Virginia.2

     On 19 May 1823, an Administrator's Bond was issued for Tirza London at Amherst County, Virginia.8

     John J. London's estate was inventoried on 16 June 1823 in Amherst County, Virginia, in the amount of $4,689.37 was presented by Jno. Mc Daniel, Jas. Bowling, and Wm. Day to the court.9

     On 15 June 1820, she is named Susannah Henderson in her father's will.2

     Martin London and Nancy R. Eades obtained a marriage bond on 29 November 1813 in Amherst County, Virginia, with Anthony Rucker as security and A. B. Davies as witness.7,8

     Martin London, 26, married Nancy R. Eades, 16, on 29 November 1813 in Amherst County, Virginia.8

     In 1818, he removed to Tennessee.4

     On 15 June 1820, he is named one of the executors of the will of his father.2

     James London left a will dated on 15 August 1835 in Amherst County, Virginia. He names his brother, Martin; his nephews, Jas. S. (or L.) Whittington and Lewis Gregory.2

     James London died before 11 November 1835.

     James London married (--?--) Dillon.1

     In June 1747, and 1748, he had 250 acres surveyed in Albemarle County. After 1761 the land was in Amherst County.2

     In 1748, he was living in Albemarle County, Virginia Colony.3

     In 1763, he purchased 400 acres on the north side of James River and on both sides of Tooker's Creek. James Dillard, Jesse Evans, Moses London and Chas. Perrow witnessed the deed.3

     James London died before 27 July 1782. Based on an entry "James London Jr. is to provide for Elizabeth Miller 27 Jul 1782."4

     Larkin London and Mary Dillard obtained a marriage bond on 2 January 1790 in Amherst County, Virginia, with Notly Maddox as security and Will Loving Jr., John Loving Jr., and Oncy Dillard as witnesses.3

     Larkin London married Mary Dillard, daughter of William Dillard, on 2 January 1790 in Amherst County, Virginia.4,3

     In July 1833, as a result of a suit between Jonas Pierce versus Larkin London and his wife, Mary Anne, his father's estate was divided at Amherst County, Virginia.5

     Larkin London died intestate before 19 September 1836.
     Find A Grave does not have a burial listing for him as of 19 Mar 2019.6
