     He was a Lieutenant of the Pennsylvania Line in the Revolutionary War who moved from the vicinity of Philadelphia to Sumner County, Tennessee.1

     Mary A. Turner was born on 27 February 1835, daughter of Nelson Bailey Turner and Elizabeth Buntin.1 She was also known as Mary E. Turner.3,4

     In February 1855, a settlement with Danl. Malaga, Guardian of Mary E. Turner, was recorded in the amount of $7,075.72 at Sumner County, Tennessee.4

     Mary A. Turner married James A. Sidons.5

     Mary A. Sidons died on 8 May 1869 at age 345 and was buried in Turner 1-55 Cemetery, Sumner County, Tennessee.5,6

     She is also reported to have died on 7 September 1856. Her tombstone reads: "In youthful bloom death laid me down. Here to await the trumpet sound. Prepare for death while you have time, For I was taken in my prime."

     This has to be for a different Mary Turner.2
