     Louise Caroline Jackson married Arthur H. Davis on 29 November 1845 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia.^1,4

     Rose Lee Jackson was born on 6 September 1871.³

     Rose Lee Jackson, 29, married Edwin Goode Burroughs, 30, son of William Luther Burroughs and Rebecca Wood Cheatham, on 4 December 1900 in Fannin County, Texas.^1,2

     Rose Lee Burroughs died on 23 December 1939 at age 68³ and was buried in Ladonia Cemetery, Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas.³

     Walter Wright Janin was born circa 1871 in Louisiana. He was the son of Leon F. Janin and Kate R. Armistead.^1,3

     Walter married Sue B. Turner, daughter of Sumpter Turner and Belle Golden Blackman, on 6 June 1894 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana.^1,3

     Walter Wright Janin died on 8 April 1932 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. I cannot find a memorial page for him on Find a Grave as of 6 Feb 2021.²

     Rosa Erma Jarman was born on 23 December 1887 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Wm. R. Jarman and Hula B. Allen, according to her death certificate. FAG has their names as William Robert Jarman (1856-1942) and Hular B. Allen (1866-1948.)^1,4,3
     She also is reported to have been born on 23 December 1886 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.³

     Rosa married Richard Knox Rives, son of Richard Bullard Rives and Arrena Craig, circa 1909.¹

     On 9 April 1930, she was enumerated as being 43 years of age and married at the age of 21, but no husband is listed on the census form at District 19, Montgomery County, Tennessee. Children: willie M., age 20 (daughter), Ira H., age 17; Irma E., age 16; Lucille B., age 12 and Atheria B., age 9.⁵

     Rosa Erma Rives and Richard Knox Rives were divorced before 9 April 1940 at Tennessee.⁶

     Rosa Erma Rives died on 28 June 1959 at age 71 in Memorial Hospital, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee,⁴ and was buried in Rives-Jarman Cemetery, Palmyra, Montgomery County, Tennessee.³

     Ina Jewell was born on 23 May 1885 in Hickman County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Dollie Jewell and Anna Rash.¹

     On 29 November 1905, she first married Albert L. Green who died in 1925 at Hickman County, Kentucky.²

     Ina Jewell married Alton P. Turner, son of Thomas Henry Turner and Lucy Frances Alexander, after 4 February 1925. I absolutely cannot find a marriage record for them as of 15 Nov 2020.^3,4

     Ina Turner died on 22 January 1947 at age 61 in Christian, Hickman County, Kentucky,¹ and was buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Clinton, Hickman County, Kentucky.⁵

     A. Nelson Johnson was born between 1815 and 1818, son of Benjamin J. Johnson and Rebecca Turner.¹

     A. Nelson Johnson married Mildred Mabry on 29 November 1837 in Sumner County, Tennessee.

     They had ten children.^3,4

     A. Nelson Johnson married Matilda Crowder on 23 September 1862 in Sumner County, Tennessee.

     They had six children.^5,4

     On 10 March 1868, In his will, Benjamin Johnson names his wife Phebe Jane (thereby eliminating the marriage to Elizabeth!); his eight children: A. N. Johnson; Wm Johnson; J. M. Johnson; Mary Bradley; Franklin Johnson; Susan Garrison; John Johnson; and S. J. Johnson. He named J. C. Buntin executor.²

     A. Nelson Johnson died after 1880.¹

     Albert J. Johnson was born circa 1828, son of Richard Collins Johnson and Frances Turner, in Sumner County, Tennessee.³
     He also is reported to have been born in 1831.²

     Albert J. Johnson died on 4 March 1880² and was buried in McKendree Cemetery, Chapel Hill, Lafayette County, Missouri.²

     Albert Sidney Johnson was born on 23 April 1862, son of Len Henly Johnson Jr. and Martha Ann Turner, in Tennessee.³

     Albert, 26, married Sarah Narcissa Elmina Fortner, 20, on 11 October 1888 in Humphreys County, Tennessee.⁴

     Albert Sidney Johnson died on 27 April 1936 at age 74 in McEwen, Humphreys County, Tennessee,³ and was buried in Johnson Turner Cemetery, Humphreys County, Tennessee.³

     Alida Marie Johnson was born circa 1883.¹

     Alida married William Bradford Turner, 42, son of Stephen Leonidas Turner and Mary Elizabeth Bryan, on 4 March 1914 in Angelica Luthern Church, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.^1,2

     Almira Johnson was born circa 1826, daughter of Richard Collins Johnson and Frances Turner, in Sumner County, Tennessee.^2,3      Almira Johnson was born on 10 April 1832, daughter of Richard Collins Johnson and Frances Turner, in Tennessee.⁴
     She was also known as Elmira.⁴

     Almira Johnson died on 7 March 1920 in Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri,⁴ and was buried in Country Farm Cemeterey, Lafayette County, Missouri.

     Her death certificate indicates she was a widow, but parents are unknown. The informant was C. L. Kinkaid. For this reason, I wonder about this identification.⁴

     Annie Lou Johnson was born circa 1892 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Stephen W. and Mollie F. Johnson.^2,3

     Annie married Morris Woodson Turner, 33, son of Lewis Emmitt Turner and Julia Askew Turner, on 16 February 1913 in Amherst County, Virginia.^2,3

     Austin Johnson was born between 1791 and 1800.²
     He also is reported to have been born in 1807.³

     Austin Johnson married Ann Elizabeth Corley on 6 September 1820 in Wilson County, Tennessee.¹

     Austin Johnson drowned on 25 December 1847 in East Nashville, Davidson Couonty, Tennessee,³ and was buried in Nashville City Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson Couonty, Tennessee.

     The only fact that makes me think this is the correct Austin Johnson is that on the internment record posted on his memorial page it states "citizen of Sumner County."³

     Barbary Johnson was born circa 1844, daughter of Robert C. Johnson and Mary Spencer, in Tennessee.¹

     Benjamin Franklin Johnson was born on 4 April 1829, son of Benjamin J. Johnson and Rebecca Turner, in Sumner County, Tennessee.¹
     He was also known as Franklin.¹

     Benjamin Franklin Johnson, 24, married Elizabeth Northam, 32, on 24 March 1854 in Simpson County, Kentucky. They had three children.¹

     On 10 March 1868, In his will, Benjamin Johnson names his wife Phebe Jane (thereby eliminating the marriage to Elizabeth!); his eight children: A. N. Johnson; Wm Johnson; J. M. Johnson; Mary Bradley; Franklin Johnson; Susan Garrison; John Johnson; and S. J. Johnson. He named J. C. Buntin executor.²

     Benjamin Franklin Johnson died on 12 October 1899 at age 70 in Sumner County, Tennessee,¹ and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee.¹

     Benjamin J. Johnson was born circa 1795, son of Richard Johnson and Lucy Hunter, because he is said to be about 54 in a Chancery Court procedure on 6-7 Apr 1849.⁴
     He also is reported to have been born circa 1791 in Louisa County, Virginia.^5,1
     His surname also is spelled as Johnston.⁶

     Benjamin married Rebecca Turner, daughter of John (L) Turner and Elizabeth Bailey, between 1815 and 1817. I cannot find a marriage record in Tennessee, North Carolina or Virginia as of 2 Jun 2021.

     According to the Johnson genealogy report, they had eight children.^7,3

     In 1816, Benjamin first purchased 98 acres from James Weathered on the waters of Bledsoe Creek at Sumner County, Tennessee.³

     In 1837, he purchased 175 acres from his father, Richard, in the same area.

     In 1843, he moved to the Fountain Head area, puchasing 340 acres from T. E. Douthett at Sumner County, Tennessee.³

     In 1846, he began selling his land in Bethpage.³

     Between 1848 and 1849, a Chancery Court case was brought between Enoch Simpson (Martha's husband) and Nelson B. Turner (Rebecca's brother) over the guardianship of John Turner, Nelson's nephew, which ran over a period of two years.

     A number of depositions were taken from family members. Elizabeth Turner Buntin testified that Martha Johnson Turner Simpson wanted Nelson to have management of her son's estate and that her father should not have his hands on it. She further testified that Martha remarried only six months or so after James' death.

     Benjamin Johnson, married to Nelson and James' sister, Rebecca testified that he had known Nelson Bailey Turner for about thirty years and Mr. Simpson some ten or twelve years. He'd known Martha Turner Simpson for about twenty-six or twenty-seven years. He testified to the friendship between Nelson and his brother, James. He did hear James call for his son as he lay dying, but when Martha turned to get the child, she was stopped by Rebecca and Elizabeth Buntin (his sisters). He further testified that the best interest of the child would be served by Nelson B. Turner.

     Benjamin Johnson, age 50, testified that he had known Martha since she was born, that he was present at James Turner's death bed, but that James and his wife spoke together briefly, but he did not hear the conversation. "I think there was a coolness between James H. Turner & Thomas Buntin in consequence of a law suit about the old man Turners mill. I have been acquainted with Mr. Nelson B. Turner for some 35 to 40 years, his character stands in my estimation as far as any man. The neighborhood he lives in stands in point of morality, as far as any of my knowledge. I was told by some of Wm. Carters family that N. B. Turner was sending his children to the Dry Fork school house or some school in that neighborhood." When asked about the relationship between N. B. and James H., he said: "They visited each other frequently. There was a good intimacy between them. James H. would always advise with N. B. Turner in almost any undertaking, in buying stock on a farming matter & etc. I believe he had more confidence in N. B. Turner than any other man, and from the confidence he had in N. B. turner, I think he would preferred him to attend to his matter to that of any other man. I was at the sale of Jas. H. Turner and I think of the bids of Martha, James H. Turners wife, that she showed a deposition to purchase the property for less than its value. I asked N. B. Turner whether it was right for her to buy this property so low or not. I do not now recollect his answer. I heard N. B> turner say to Martha that she ought to bid a fair price for the property or something near worth, as she would wrong the child out of it just right in buying the property for less than its true value. . . . . The child of Jas. H. Turner has not been with his father's connection much since Martha, Jas. H. Turners wife, married Enoch Simpson. . . . I would prefer a child of mine being place in that (N. B. Turner's) neighborhood."⁴

     On 19 January 1848, Richard Johnson in his will names his lawful children: George; Mary; Richard; Benjamin; Samuel; Nancy; the lawful heirs of Austin Johnson; and his minor children: David, Nathan, Andrew and Sally. He appointed his son Benjamin Johnson and L. M. Wood? as executors.⁸

     Benjamin J. Johnson married Mary C. Payne, 29, on 10 September 1850 in Sumner County, Tennessee. Oral family history says they had two children who did not survive.^9,10

     According to his memorial page, he lastly married Elizabeth Johnson (1821-1902) for which marriage I cannot find any record in Tennessee. I don't have confidence in the marriage to Elizabeth Johnson which is not listed in the genealogy report cited.^5,1

     Benjamin J. Johnson married Phebe Jane Northam, 22, on 7 October 1855 in Sumner County, Tennessee.^11,12

     In 1858, he purchased the Alfred McAdams farm located in Fountain Head at Sumner County, Tennessee.³

     Benjamin J. Johnson left a will dated on 10 March 1868 in Sumner County, Tennessee. In his will, Benjamin Johnson names his wife Phebe Jane (thereby eliminating the marriage to Elizabeth!); his eight children: A. N. Johnson; Wm Johnson; J. M. Johnson; Mary Bradley; Franklin Johnson; Susan Garrison; John Johnson; and S. J. Johnson. He named J. C. Buntin executor.¹²

     Benjamin J. Johnson died on 20 May 1868¹³ and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee.¹³

     His estate was probated on 6 July 1868 in Sumner County, Tennessee.¹⁴

     Carrie Johnson was born on 12 August 1859, daughter of Robert L. Johnson and Victoria Greenwood, in Christian County, Kentucky.²

     Carrie Johnson died on 12 March 1861 at age 1 in Montgomery County, Tennessee,² and was buried in Johnson-Clark Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.²

     Charles J. Johnson was born on 4 March 1865, son of Len Henly Johnson Jr. and Martha Ann Turner, in Tennessee.⁴

     Charles J. Johnson died on 21 October 1938 at age 73 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee,⁴ and was buried in Johnson Turner Cemetery, Humphreys County, Tennessee.⁴

     Elizabeth Johnson was born circa 1832, daughter of Len Henly Johnson Sr and Mary W. Kendrick, in Tennessee.¹

     Elizabeth Johnson was born circa 1819, daughter of Richard Collins Johnson and Frances Turner, in Tennessee.¹

     Elizabeth Johnson married Jonas Meador on 15 February 1853 in Lafayette County, Missouri.²

     Emeline Johnson was born circa 1842, daughter of Robert C. Johnson and Mary Spencer, in Tennessee.¹

     Frand Johnson was born circa 1856, son of Robert C. Johnson and Mary Spencer, in Tennessee.¹

     Could this be the Thomas Marion "Tom" Johnson, son of Robert D Johnson and Mary
Spencer who was born 20 Feb 1855 in Wilson County, Tennessee, and died 23 Feb 1917 in Statesville, Wilson County, Tennessee and buried in Johnson Cemetery, Watertown, Wilson County, Tennessee? If so he appears to have married Abbie Katherine Thompson Johnson (1864-1932.²

     George Terrell Johnson was born on 5 August 1796 in Lynchburg, (Independent City), Virginia. He was the son of Charles Johnson (1753-1813) and Mary Ann Moorman Johnson (1758-1849.)³

     George Terrell Johnson and Zalinda L. Johnson obtained a marriage bond on 14 November 1818 in Campbell County, Virginia, with George T. Johnson, father of Zeliinda L., as bondsman.^4,5

     George Terrell Johnson died on 29 December 1861 at age 65 in Lynchburg, (Independent City), Virginia,³ and was buried in Presbyterian Cemetery, Lynchburg, (Independent City), Virginia.³

     George W. Johnson was born circa 1848 in Tennessee.²

     George married Mary E. Hunt, daughter of James Hunt and Nicy D. Turner, on 10 May 1865 in Sumner County, Tennessee.¹

     Greenwood Johnson was born on 29 March 1867, son of Robert L. Johnson and Victoria Greenwood, in Montgomery County, Tennessee.², died on 17 August 1867 in Montgomery County, Tennessee,² and was buried in Johnson-Clark Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.²

     Ida G. Johnson was born circa 1874 in Texas. She was the daughter of Miles L., born in Mississippi, and Sarah P. Johnson, born in Alabama, who lived in Palo Pinto County, Texas in 1880.^1,3

     Ida married William Suddarth Turner, son of John Preston Turner and Rachel E. Sowell, circa 1905. I cannot find a marriage record for them as of 29 May 2021.¹

     Infant Johnson was buried in Johnson-Clark Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.²

     Ira C. Johnson was born circa 1831, son of Richard Collins Johnson and Frances Turner, in Tennessee.¹

     In November 1879, a Ira Johnson died in Napa County, California The death register states he had been a resident of the county for two years and was 45 years of age, born in Tennessee. The reason I do not think this is the right man is that this particular Ira Johnson had registered for the Civil War Draft on 1 Jul 1863 and resided at Russian River, California. Given that Ira C. was enumerated in Missouri in 1870, I do not believe Ira C. died in California.³

     James Hart Johnson was born on 10 March 1857, son of Len Henly Johnson Jr. and Martha Ann Turner, in Tennessee.³

     James married Estalena Pittard in 1895. I cannot find a marriage record for them as of 25 May 2021.³

     James Hart Johnson died on 9 February 1953 at age 95 in Waverly, Humphreys County, Tennessee,³ and was buried in Johnson Turner Cemetery, Humphreys County, Tennessee.³

     James Monroe Johnson was born between 1825 and 1826, son of Benjamin J. Johnson and Rebecca Turner, in Sumner County, Tennessee.⁴

     James Monroe Johnson and Margaret M. Beason obtained a marriage license on 15 September 1846 in Sumner County, Tennessee.¹

     On 10 March 1868, In his will, Benjamin Johnson names his wife Phebe Jane (thereby eliminating the marriage to Elizabeth!); his eight children: A. N. Johnson; Wm Johnson; J. M. Johnson; Mary Bradley; Franklin Johnson; Susan Garrison; John Johnson; and S. J. Johnson. He named J. C. Buntin executor.³

     James Robert Johnson was born on 2 August 1850, son of Robert C. Johnson and Mary Spencer, in Watertown, Wilson County, Tennessee.^1,2

     James Robert Johnson and Sarah Ann Patton obtained a marriage license on 21 September 1873 in Wilson County, Tennessee.³

     James Robert Johnson, 23, married Sarah Ann Patton, 20, on 21 September 1873 in Wilson County, Tennessee, with Jas. L. Perryman, Minister of the Gospel, officiating.⁴

     James Robert Johnson died on 30 October 1925 at age 75 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee,¹ and was buried in Jones Hill Cemetery, Watertown, Wilson County, Tennessee.²
