     Mary Elizabeth Dillard was born on 31 May 1826, daughter of William Dillard and Sarah S. Christian.3,4

     Mary Elizabeth Dillard and Terisha Washington Dillard obtained a marriage bond on 30 November 1844 in Amherst County, Virginia, with John J. Dillard as security and Nathan A. Wingfield as witness. William Dillard, father of the bride, also witnessed the bond.5,6,7

     Mary Elizabeth Dillard died on 2 March 1886 at age 593,4 and was buried in Dillard Graveyard, Riverville, Amherst County, Virginia.

     Sallie Cynthia Dillard was born in 1850, daughter of Terisha Washington Dillard and Mary Elizabeth Dillard.1
     Sallie Cynthia also is reported to have been born in 1853 in Edgewood, Amherst County, Virginia.2

     Sallie Cynthia Dillard married William Wallace Larkin.2

     Sallie Cynthia Larkin died of Influenza complicated by Chronic Myocarditis with Dilation and Cerebral Hemorrhage on 8 January 1933 in Campbell County, Virginia,2 and was buried on 10 January 1933 in Spring Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg, Virginia.2
