William S. Moss was born in 1842, son of Howell Richard Moss and Dionitia Tempe Davis, in Warren County, North Carolina.3
He also is reported to have been born on 7 December 1834. The problem with his memorial page is that is shows his father as Frederick Moss 191783-1859) and Eleanor Jennings Duke Moss (1797-1857).4
William S. Moss moved to Christian County, Kentucky.1
I am not confident that the following information actually is the same person as William S. Moss, son of Howell Richard and Dionitia Tempe Moss. The problem with this is this William Samuel Moss states he was born in Kentucky in the 1880 census. Therefore, the marriage to Serina and everthing after he moved to Christian County, Kentucky is incorrect.
William S. Moss married Serina J. Truett, 14, daughter of William R. Truitt, on 22 January 1862 in Warren County, Kentucky.5
After Serina's death in 1865, he married Esther Crabb (1848-1915).4
I cannot find him in the 1880 census anywhere as of 18 Jan 2021.

Charles, 23, married Mattie Turner, 21, daughter of Thomas Marcellus Turner and Mattie Susan Fisher, on 21 September 1916 in Wilson County, Tennessee.1
Charles registered for the draft on 6 June 1917 at Wilson County, Tennessee. He was living near Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee and is a farmer. He is described as of medium height and build with light blue eyes and light brown hair.

James Nevil left a will dated in March 1752 in Albemarle County, Virginia. In James Nevil's will, of this date, he names his son James; "to my son Cornelius Thomas the son of Lucy Nevil"; daughter Betheniah wife of John Allen; daughter Johanna Brown; son John Brown; Johanna Browns' eldest daughter; daughter Hannah Matthews; daughter Mary Douglas, daughter Martha Nevill; daughter Elizabeth Nevill; daughters Judith and Sally Nevill, wife Lucy Nevill. According to the anonymous author Cornelius Thomas must have been a step son and John Brown a son-in-law.
Some of the above names are the same as those of Lucy Nevil's children. Could she have been a daughter of James? Could he have also had a wife named Lucy? The marriages of James' children do not match up with the marriages of Lucy's children as I have them. Could she have named Betheniah, for example, after a sister? There are entirely too many unknowns here.1
His estate was probated in November 1752 in Albemarle County, Virginia.1
