Phebe Jane Northam, 22, married Benjamin J. Johnson, son of Richard Johnson and Lucy Hunter, on 7 October 1855 in Sumner County, Tennessee.3,4
On 10 March 1868, In his will, Benjamin Johnson names his wife Phebe Jane (thereby eliminating the marriage to Elizabeth!); his eight children: A. N. Johnson; Wm Johnson; J. M. Johnson; Mary Bradley; Franklin Johnson; Susan Garrison; John Johnson; and S. J. Johnson. He named J. C. Buntin executor.4
They had five children, but only four survived and left issue as proven by her estate settlement of 1907.5
Phebe Jane Johnson died on 16 January 1907 at age 73 in Sumner County, Tennessee,2 and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Portland, Sumner County, Tennessee.2
