William Henry Jones married Susan Ann Turner, daughter of Stephen Henley Turner and Susan A. T. Read. I cannot find a marriage record anywhere on FamilySearch or Ancestry for them.

I found a marriage record for Andrew Mckoy Jones, son of Wm. Henry Jones and Susan (no surname) to Ruth Kelly on 30 May 1921 in Wilmington, New Hanover, North Carolina. Andrew was born c1886. Initially, I thought this was them.

However, in the death record of Decatur Craven Jones, it states his mother's full name was Susan Strickland and father was William Henry Jones. Decatur was born in Duplin County, North Carolina. So we now can see that this indentification was totally wrong!1,2,3

William Henry Jones died before 1910. Because his wife was described as widowed in the 1910 census.4

William H. Hern was born between 1795 and 1804.2

William H. Hern married Susanna Hamner Turner, 18, daughter of James Turner and Elizabeth Sims, on 6 August 1819 in Wilson County, Tennessee.1

The Wm. Horn who was enumerated in the 1830 census in Wilson County was between the ages of 40 and 50 which is too old to be this man. The William Hern who was enumerated in Greenup County, Kentucky was even older.

The Wm H. Horn who was enumerated in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee had a very large household to be this man: one free white male under 5; two free white males 20 and under 30; and two free white males 30 and under 40 (but he could be living with a brother, etc.); one free white female under 5; one free white female 5 and under 10; one free white female 10 and under 15; two free white females 30 and under 40. However, when this man was enumerated in 1850 in Nashville, his wife's name was Nancy G.3

I any death/burial information as of 3 Oct 2019. However, I did find him on the 1850 Slave Schedule in Giles County, Tennesse, but not under any spelling of his surname there in the regular census on FamilySearch or Ancestry. Go figure!

     Mary E. (--?--) was born circa 1850 in Tennessee.1

Her son's death records give his mother's name as Betty Pace - could she have been Mary Elizabeth, shortened to Betty? However, I cannot find a marriage record for this surname either.

Mary E. (--?--) married Thomas H. Turner, son of Henry H. Turner and Eleanor N. Mabry. There is no marriage between a Thomas H. Turner except for one on 24 Feb 1865 in Scott County, Kentucky with an Amanda Lee which doesn't match the census enumeration in 1870.

The only marriage between a Thomas H. Turner and a Mary E. occurred in Cheatham County, Tennessee on 23 Nov 1870 which is too late for this time period. There is a marriage on 4 Oct 1866 in Bedford County, Tennessee with Mary Jane Haggard, but all the rest have different given names.1

193040 years of age and married for the first time at the age of 18 (approximately 1907) which does not match Ina who married for the first time around 1904-1905. Alton was enumerated as single in 1920.

There is an issue on the enumeration sheet in 1930: initially Ina was shown as head of household and then wife was scratched in (she was NOT indexed by the FHL). A. P. was first listed as husband which was scratched out and Head written in. A son, Jewel R. Green is listed, age 19, but unless Ina was previously married that makes no sense.
