     Alsay Herman Byrum was born on 3 October 1893 in Haywood County, Tennessee. He was the son of Robert Byrum and Minnie Mae Marbury.3,4

     Alsay Herman Byrum married Elizabeth McMurry, daughter of James Allen McMurray and Emily Villosa Turner. I cannot find a marriage record anywhere on FamilySearch or Ancestry for this couple as of 23 Dec 2016.1

     He performed his Military Service as a Private First Class, 23rd Infantry, 2nd Division during World War I.3

     He remarried after Eizabeth's death to Jane Hazel Dickerson with whom he had a child, Thomas Wade Byrum.5

     Alsay Herman Byrum died on 11 October 1952 at age 59 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas,3 and was buried in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.3
