     Mary Perkins Moon was born on 27 December 1819 in Virginia. According to the cited history book, her father was Littlebury Moon.2,3,4

     Mary Perkins Moon, 19, married William Hopkins Turner, 24, son of Henry Turner and Isabella Hopkins, on 10 January 1839. They had nine children.1,5

     Mary Perkins Turner died on 11 June 1912 at age 924 and was buried in Rodes United Methodist Church Cemetery, Avon, Nelson County, Virginia.4

     She is also reported to have died on 4 January 1892.1
