I've been unable to find him in a census, on a marriage or in a death record. I did find a Lewis Burroughs as the father of Louise Burroughs Cheatham who was born in 1899 and died died 30 Dec 1985. Her mother is listed as Sally Knight. I could not find a marriage record for ANY Lewis Burroughs, but did find one for a W. L. Burroughs who married a Sallie P. Lemmon. I've no idea if there is a relationship here.
