     Frances A. Hutcheson and Samuel J. Turner obtained a marriage bond on 3 December 1840 in Amherst County, Virginia, with Thos. Cildress as as security.1 The Marriage Return was received by the court on 16 March 1840. I have no explanation for the marriage return date being in March where the marriage bond was obtained in December. I suspect it probably should have been written 16 Mar 1831.2

     Frances A. Turner died before 19 December 1850 in Amherst County, Virginia, because she was not enumerated with her husband.3
