Thomas H. Turner was born on 1 May 1848, son of Henry H. Turner and Eleanor N. Mabry, in Kentucky.2,3

Thomas H. Turner married Mary E. (--?--). I cannot find a marriage record in which I have confidence for them on either Ancestry of FamilySearch as of 21 Nov 2020.

I have found a marriage license for a Thomas H. Turner and Mary E. Manly dated 16 Jan 1861 in Amherst County, Virginia. This is the only record for a Thomas H. Turner. However, I found burial information which makes it clear the Thomas H. Turner who married Mary E. Manley was the son of Payton Turner.

A more likely record might be the one between Thomas Turner and Mary E. Canada, 6 Oct 1870 in Trimble County, Kentucky, however it gives this man's birth place as Trimble County, Kentucky which does not fit either.

Bottom line: I cannot find a marriage record for them as of 20 Nov 2020.4,5,6

Thomas H. Turner married Lucy Frances Alexander circa 1877. I cannot find a marriage record for them in either Kentucky or Tennessee as of 21 Nov 2020.7,8

Thomas H. Turner died before 25 September 19059 and was buried in Pace Cemetery, Ballard County, Kentucky.
His date of death is unknown.3

His estate was probated on 25 September 1905 in Ballard County, Kentucky.9

On 25 September 1905, Lucy Turner was appointed administrix of the estate of T H Turner, deceased.9
