     Mary W. Harshbargher married Russell Jay Burley, 26, son of Manford Burley and Virginia Ann Turner, on 14 October 1901 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Missouri, with Hank L Blakeley, Ministger of the Gospel, officiating.2,1

     I am unable to find a death or divorce record for her, but her husband remarried and was enumerated in 1920 with Ethel S. Burley, at which point he has two more children.3

     William B. Burroughs was born on 14 February 1868, son of John Eaton Burroughs and Mary Sue Glover, in Granville County, North Carolina.2,3

     There is a military marker on his tombstone which says North Carolina Pvt 13 Btry Field Arty which I assume means 13th Battery, Field Artiller, but no indication which war. He was in his forties during the World War I and seventies in World War II. This requires further research to determine where he served.3

     William B. Burroughs died on 16 June 1947 at age 79 in Herrings Crossroads, Sampson County, North Carolina,3 and was buried in Harris Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dabney, Vance County, North Carolina.3
