Isabella S. Turner was born circa 1821, daughter of Henry Turner and Isabella Hopkins, in Nelson County, Virginia.3

Isabella married Joel Yancey on 1 October 1840 in Washington, District of Columbia.4

Isabella S. Yancey died on 25 February 1905 in Batesville, Albemarle County, Virginia.

     Her burial location is unknown.5

On 10 March 1905, Isabella Yancey's obituary, as posted on Find A Grave, reads: "Mrs. Isabella Yancey, mother of Mrs. George A. Coyner of Waynesboro, died at Batesville, Albemarle County, (Virginia) on the 25th ult. in the 90th year of her age. She is survived by five children, Mrs. Coyner, Miss Connie Yancey, and Messrs. Edward, Charley and William Yancey."
Staunton Vindicator, issue of 10 Mar 1905

I suspect Edward Yancey may have been Joseph Edward Yancey, except Joseph was not enumerated with the family in 1860 so I had presumed he was deceased.5
