     Charles Carl Neal registered for the draft on 6 June 1917 at Wilson County, Tennessee. He was living near Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee and is a farmer. He is described as of medium height and build with light blue eyes and light brown hair.

     Due to a need for men to serve during World War I, the United States instituted a draft. Obviously, not everyone who was registered for the draft was drafted or served in the military.
