     John Marion Norvell died on 13 May 18952 and was buried in Riverview Cemetery, Richmond, (Independent City), Virginia.2

     On 7 March 1944, Harriet Norvell Moon's obituary names her husband; parents: John Marion Norvell and Susan Turner Norvell; and her brother, Robert Norvell of Red Bluff, California.4
