     Augustus McDonald Fowler was born on 28 March 1839, son of Edmund Forrest Fowler and Susan Dillard Turner, in North Carolina.1,3

     Augustus began military service on 20 August 1862 by enlisting as a Private in Company H, 10th New York Infantry in New York City for service during the Civil War. He was transferred on 26 Aug 1863 to Company C.4

     He ended military service on 9 June 1865 at Munson's Hill, Fairfax County, Virginia.

     Augustus McDonald Fowler married Lydia A. Haines. I absolutely cannot find a marriage record on Ancestry or FamilySearch for them as of 3 Jul 2021.5

     Augustus McDonald Fowler died on 27 March 1926 at age 86 in Bronx County, New York.3

     James Kerne was born in 1852, son of Samuel C. Kerne and Susannah Turner, in Missouri.1,2 He was also known as James Preston Kem.2 His surname also is spelled as Kein.3

     On 17 May 1888, he married Evelyn Lee Smith (1862-1939) with Rector James R. Harding officiating at St. James Church, Macon, Macon County, Missouri.3,2

     On 12 September 1895, Samuel Kem's obituary states he leaves a widow and five children: J. P. Kem of Macon City, Missouri; Charles R. Kem and Mrs. O. Carstarphen of Denver, Colorado and Misses Calla and Ella Kem of Louisiana.4

     Nicholas married Jane Cannon on 25 February 1834 in Lincoln County, Missouri.3

     On 4 August 1835, on which date Nicholas T. Damron became administrator of his father, Littlepage Damron's, estate. He further states that Wm. Damron of Nelson County, Virginia; Malinda Harvey, wife of Francis Harvey of Lincoln County, Missouri and James Damron and the said Nicholas T. Damron of the same county, Elizabeth Thurmond, Susan Wells and Lucy Ann Damron of Pike County are the only heirs of Littlepage Damron. Therefore, we can safely assume his wife, Susanna, had predeceased him. in Pike County, Missouri.1
