     Spotswood James Omohundro was born on 10 October 1817, son of Ellis Putney Omohundro and Mary Dillon Turner.3,4

     On 23 December 1846, Spotswood James Omohundro witnessed the marriage bond of Elizabeth Rachel Omohundro and James Steptoe Langhorne at Amherst County, Virginia.5,6

     Spotswood James Omohundro and Sarah Elizabeth Hutcheson obtained a marriage bond on 16 January 1849 in Amherst County, Virginia, with James Davis as security and Robert C. Martin as witness.7,8 The Marriage Return was received by the court on 16 January 1849.9

     On 7 October 1851, In Ellis P. Omohundro's will of this date he names his son, Spotswood J., for services to me prior to 1849 when he left me; his wife, daughter Louisa and younger children until of age. Spotswood was to administer his will. Witnesses were Wm. Kent, D. Staples.2

     On 15 March 1852, Spotswood began administration of his father's estate.2

     Spotswood James Omohundro died on 18 December 1903 at age 86 in Lincoln County, Missouri,10,4 and was buried in Elsberry City Cemetery, Elsberry, Lincoln County, Missouri.4
